Antalya, Turkey · Color Work
Color tattooing demands more than technical skill — it requires understanding how pigments interact with different skin tones, how colors shift during healing, and which ink brands hold vibrancy over years. Done right, a color tattoo is a painting that lives on you.
Emy's color work ranges from soft botanical compositions to vivid photo-realistic portraits. Every color piece is planned with longevity in mind — inks, saturation, and placement chosen to look great years from now, not just on the day.
Photo-realistic rendering with color — portraits, animals, flowers, food. Every shade blended to replicate the depth and texture of a photograph.
Flowers, leaves, butterflies — color tattoos that feel like pressed botanical prints lifted onto skin. Soft, layered, elegant.
Inspired by fine art and illustration — think Van Gogh-style brushwork, stained glass effects, or bold graphic color with clean outlines.
Black line or blackwork base with selective color accents. A versatile approach that ages well because the black structure remains strong over time.
Color pigments — especially yellows, whites, and light pastels — can fade faster than black if exposed to UV. In sunny Antalya this is especially relevant. Emy uses professional-grade inks and will advise on which colors hold best for your skin tone. SPF on healed tattoos is essential.
Yes — just plan it carefully. Color work needs to stay out of direct sun and sea water for 3–4 weeks. Get your tattoo in the first or last days of your trip, keep it covered, and avoid the pool. Book at least 2 weeks in advance during summer months.
Color work typically involves more passes over the skin to build up saturation, which can feel more intense than single-pass linework. However, pain is mostly determined by placement — not color vs. black. Emy works at a pace that keeps sessions manageable.
Keep it out of direct sun for the first 3–4 weeks. Use fragrance-free moisturizer twice daily. No sea, pool, or prolonged soaking until fully healed. Once healed, apply SPF 50+ whenever it will be exposed to sun. Emy provides full aftercare instructions in English and Turkish.
